I have been doing some research on what conferences to attend to gain the right knowledge to improve my skills. It seems like this year like the past two years NDC 2010 is the conference to attend.

NDC is a unique conference where I will experience talks on the most talked about topics within established and cutting edge .NET-technology and framework, open source, exciting programming languages, advanced Test Driven and Agile Development, and this in only a few of the exciting topics covered. The conference this year has an even stronger profile towards agile development, which, has proven itself as a superior approach to develop both large and small systems.

Since the call for paper hasnt ended yet, all the speaker names are not available, but the speakers that have been announced so far are all among the best speakers in the world. Speakers such as Mike Cohn, Robert C. Martin, Eric Evans, Juval Löwy, Lisa Crispin among others alone would be enough to attend this conference.

Their promise of announcing even more interesting speakers after the call for papers ends march 1st tells me that this will be the conference to attend in 2010. If we book our tickets early, we can take advantage of the early bird offer which will save us NOK 1400 on each ticket.
